Here at Tiree Music Festival we want to make our event accessible for all, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch to [email protected].

Event Site Access

All the Public Areas of Tiree Music Festival are accessible for wheelchairs; however it is a grassy field so the land is sloped and uneven in places.  If you have any issues whilst you are onsite, please talk to a member of staff and they will be happy to assist you

Concession Tickets

Concession priced tickets are available to anyone receiving any kind of disability allowance/PIP.  If your disability requires you to have a Personal assistant (PA), your PA is eligible for a complimentary PA Ticket.  A complimentary PA ticket can be applied for here. You will be required to upload evidence of your eligibility to have the application approved.

Accessibility Campsite

For customers with accessibility requirements this is an area located in the main campsite, but close to toilet facilities and near the main gate.

Accessible Toilets

There will be fully wheelchair accessible toilets in the main toilet zone and in the campsite.

If you have a medical condition that requires you to be able to get to a toilet quickly, please talk to a member of the first aid team, who will be situated at the first aid station.  They will be able to ensure you can get quick access to a toilet.

Campsite Showers

Unfortunately, our campsite showers are not wheelchair accessible.

Drop Off Zone

We have 2 car park fields at Tiree Music Festival, however they are quite uneven underfoot, if possible, we would recommend dropping off any wheelchair users at the main gate.  If this doesn’t suit your requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact the office at [email protected] and we will do our best to find a solution.

Assistance Dogs

A ‘recognised Assistance Dog’ is one which has been specifically trained to assist a disabled person and which has been qualified by one of the charitable organisations as members of Assistance Dogs UK.

Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing your Assistance Dog to the festival by emailing [email protected]

Strobe Lighting

Please note some of the music performances may include strobe lighting.

Folding Chairs

Folding camp chairs are permitted in the arena.  However, please note that there is a designated area for them in the Big Top Tent and they are not permitted outside of this area.  Should any area within the arena become busy you may be asked to put your chair away.  If you have accessibility requirements where you feel you require to the chair, we ask that you explain this to the person asking you to out your chair away and the team will try and find a solution or a new location where you can use your chair.  The health and safety of our patrons is paramount.
