The most popular method of travel to Tiree, Cal Mac provides a daily ferry service from Oban to Tiree that takes approximately 4 hours. If planning to bring a vehicle to Tiree then we advise early booking as vehicle space is limited. If travelling as a foot-passenger, there is no pre-booking service available from Calmac as you just purchase your ticket at the terminal on arrival. Due to the high volume of people travelling to Tiree for the festival we advise that you get to the terminal early.

There will be an additional sailings to Tiree from Oban on July 16th and Tiree to Oban on July 23rd.  There will also be an additional sailing departing Tiree Monday 21st. Exact service times TBC.

Please note that there will NOT be a special TMF pre-booking system available like the one tested in 2013 by Calmac.
