It is with heavy hearts that we must confirm that Tiree Music Festival 2021 will be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the positive news on approved vaccines, we have been liaising closely with national organisations and key stakeholders over the past few weeks on the current situation and we have concluded that there are still too many risks and uncertainties for us to safely plan and deliver Tiree Music Festival in 2021.
As always, our priority is ensuring TMF is a safe, family-friendly event and sadly this cannot be guaranteed under the current circumstances.
When we made the decision to cancel TMF2020, we were overwhelmed that nearly 80% of ticket holders transferred their tickets to 2021 and it’s been fantastic to continue to see such interest in our unique festival. Once again we will give priority to current ticket holders to automatically transfer all tickets (festival access & add ons) to TMF2022, which will be held on 8th – 10th July 2022.
Should you not be able to make 2022 and wish to request a refund on your ticket please contact [email protected] with your name and ticket order ID so we can get this processed by Eventbrite.
We please ask for patience on these refund requests as this is a significant administration undertaking for our small festival that has no full-time staff. All refund requests must be received by 11pm on Sunday 28th February 2021.
There have been so many requests to purchase the refunded ticket allocation and this show of support has been a great source of comfort during these challenging times. As soon as we can safely begin planning TMF2022 we will release this allocation. As always, priority will be given to those on the TMF mailing list so please sign up via the website if you have not already done so.
