Jemima Hall is an artist and educator of ancestral skills based across Scotland’s Inner and Outer Hebrides. Her practice blends foraging, folklore, and land-based craft in a way that reconnects people — young and old — to the wild and wonderful natural world around them.
At TMF 2025, Jemima offers a series of unique, immersive experiences on Tiree’s shores and croft-lands. This one-hour coastal session, Jemima will introduce you to the edible and medicinal seaweeds of Tiree. Learn how to identify a variety of species, understand their folklore and historical uses, and forage safely and sustainably.
