Three of Scotland’s finest Gaelic singers join forces to create the sound of SIAN, a project originally developed by Fèisean nan Gàidheal for Blas 2016. Focussing on songs by female Gaelic bards, and showcasing the strength and beauty of Gaelic song, Eilidh Cormack, Ellen MacDonald and Ceitlin Lilidh are joined on this occasion by accompanist Allan Nairn to create a powerful collective sound, representing their wealth of individual experience. Together they have performed at the SSE Hydro, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and many other venues all across Scotland, collaborating with some of Scottish trad’s best-loved artists, most recently featuring on Niteworks' single 'Air Fàir an Là', released July 2018.
