TMF AWARDED BEST SMALL FESTIVAL AT SCOTTISH EVENT AWARDS Just months after a third successive sell-out event in July, Tiree Music Festival (TMF) have been recognised for their achievements by being awarded Best Small Festival in Scotland. TMF NOMINATED FOR BEST SMALL FESTIVAL AT SCOTTISH EVENT AWARDS!   We are delighted to announce that TMF have been shortlisted for the award of Best Small Festival in Scotland. The winner of the award will be announced at a gala dinner on the 6th September 2012. Fingers crossed we can win this event for everyone involved with TMF however we are very proud just to be nominated – thanks to everyone who has supported TMF over the past few years.  

After it’s sensational debut last year, the TMF Unsigned Act competition is back! The comp offers any unsigned act/band the chance to perform the opening set on the main stage of TMF 2012. To enter, simply email a track, video or link to info@tireemusicfestival.co.uk . The TMF panel will then select finalists from all the entries and the TMF public will then vote for the band they would like to open TMF 2012! The 2011 comp saw an epic battle of the bands between Lost City Soul and Huevo & the Giant which ended up with both bands performing at TMF 2011 – what will the 2012 comp unveil?………

With the original 300 early bird tickets selling out within a week of going on sale, an extra 100 early bird tickets have been released (50 via the online shop and 50 at the Business Centre on Tiree). The early bird tickets offer TMF followers to guarantee their TMF 2012 tickets at a special discounted rate before the public sale is launched in April. This year a special student discount has been introduced as well as the new TMF Community Village & Campsite.
